"Women's Human
Rights Camp" will last 10 days and will be held in the village of Lacarak
in Serbia where we have the intention to work with invited participants,
20 of them, on the issue of women's human rights. The project will as well
include community population in camp's activities in order to make them
aware about this crucial issue of the lives of all of them.
Work/study:
The project "Human Rights Camp" consists of two major elements, complementary
and interdependent. 1) Workshops and discussions about women's human rights
for invited participants. Workshops and discussions about women's human
rights will be organized in the camp twice to three times a day. Workshops'
themes: principles of non-violent communication, differences, prejudices
and stereotypes, gender, identities, women's human rights, theatre workshops,
mechanisms of protection of women's human rights, what is feminism and
prejudices related to this subject, sexism, sexuality, NGO's in charge
of protection of women's human rights. 2) Opened workshops, discussions
and other activities that will include local inhabitants. These will be
organized in order to give participants different quality of time and to
provoke local inhabitants to become interested and participate in camps'
activities. Theatre workshops, movies, sport.

Private accommodation in the local school or youth house.
Language: English
Qualifications:
We will insist on gender balance. Age must be 18-26 years. Fluent
command of English
