NI 2.1 TOOLS FOR SOLIDARITY Belfast
17/08-31/08 8 Vols
Tools for Solidarity are a charitable
organisation that seeks to provide basic hand tools for crafts people,
apprentices, village co-operatives and women's groups in the third world.
This is achieved by the collecting and refurbishing of used, broken or
unwanted tools throughout Ireland. These tools are shipped out in
direct response from our overseas partner organisations.
They need the help of volunteers
to distribute leaflets (about T.F.S.), follow that up with personal calls
to receive donations of tools, work on refurbishing the tools themselves,
help with a jumble sale, flag day and hopefully participate in Development
Education sessions and talks on Northern Ireland.
