CJM 1 /RABAT WORKCAMP

Rabat has been designated as the capital of Morocco in the beginning
of
the present
century, but it did not wait till the 20th century to be distinguished
as a city
.The ramparts, the huge historical gates , and hassan tower are there
to remind
us of that. The climate is agreeable in summer.
It's known by its nice beaches about 15 km to the south of Rabat.
"Chantiers
jeunesse Maroc"is organizing a workcamp with the
collaboration
with the city council of Rabat.
Number
of participants: 20.
NATURE OF THE PROJECT:
Creating a public park, draining the badly engaged , painting and watering.
The duration of work will be 5 hours /a day.
LODGING AND MEALS:
Meals will be prepared
by volunteers.
ACTIVITIES:
Themselves
who will also have to bring with them working clothes , a
sleeping bag ,
and anything which could contribute to the good progress of
the workcamp (game
sets , musical instruments , cooking recipe , etc….)

is a small village on the Rif mountain , 35 km east of Chefchaouen.
It is on the road
from Chefchaouen to Nador.

Chrafat to build
a wall around the school and connect the school to water
supply.

occupies the first rank in Africa.The fact that
casablanca is near two regions
that are suppliers of cereal surplus as well as
to the phosphates of Khouribga
, this made of the city the greatest entry for economic businesses.
It's known by its nice beach at 20 km to the north of casablanca.

As far as food is concerned meals will be prepared by the volunteers
themselves who will also have
to bring with them working clothes , a sleeping bag , and anything which
could contribute to the good progress of the workcamp (game sets , musical

CJM workcamp will be near the seaside .

Social project(rural area)
Ain Leuh is a village situated in the middle Atlas at 95 kms to the south
of Fes;
and 25 km from Azrou .Iti is famous for the snowfall during winter and
mild temperature
in summer . The middle Atlas big summits : Michlifen, Hibri
and
Habri are at a height of 2000 m. The area is also covered with
tremendous
Cedar forests.
It's known by its panoramic naturel view and authentic monuments .

Fes was the first capital of Morocco as well as the oldest city of the
country
built in 809. Again in the
13th century during the region of the Merinid dynasty,
and in the 14th century ,
the city became the spirituel and cultural centre of
traditional Morocco.
Fes is also the capital of skilled-craft ; specialized in pottery , copperplates,
and lather work . It's known
by the authentic monuments : Fes El Bali:la medina,

It's an oasis 35 km west of Rachidia on the road to Ouarzazate .
The road which goes from Rachidia to Ouarzazate crosses the Moroccan
desert and
some fabulous places ; Goulmima is one of those known for its
palms
groves.
"Chantiers
jeunesse Maroc" is organizing a workcamp with the municipality
of Goulmima.
Nature of the project:
The
project consists draining the badly engaged ground and planting trees
in the neighbourhoud.
The
duration of work will be 5 hours /a day.
Number of volunteers:20.
MEALS
AND ACTIVITIES:
As far as food is concerned meals will be prepared by the volunteers
themselves who
will also have to bring with them working clothes , a sleeping
bag and anything
which could contribute to the good progress of the workcamp
(game
sets , musical instruments ,cooking recipe , etc….)
MEETING
POINT:
The
meeting point will be at the municipality of Goulmima.
We
will waiting for you at the coach station.
Accomodation:
The
volunteers will be lodged in " Dar Ettalib" Avenue Hassan 2.

How to get to the camp
If you came by plane : from F?s Sa?ss airport take the taxi to "Bab
Boujloud"
bus station , from there take the CTM bus to Errachidia
, there is 3 buses
every day.
From Errachidia bus station take a coach to Goulmima , there is 70
km
We will wait for you in Goulmima bus station.
From Casablanca Mohammed V airport : take the train to Casablanca
Voyageurs station ;from there take a taxi (red color ) to bus station
"Oualed Ziane " from there take the coach to Errachidia bus station
, there
one every 3 hours.We will send you train and coach time table.
From Errachidia bus station take the coach to Goulmima .
We will wait for you in Goulmima station
From Marrakech Menara airport , take the to "Bab Doukkala "
bus station
from there take the CTM bus to Errachidia bus station.
From Errachidia bus station take the coach to Goulmima.
We will wait for you in Goulmima station .
