In 2002 we have once more camps together
with our partner „FachWerkHof“ in Dresden. This is a non-profit organisation,
a socio-cultural centre and meeting point for disadvantaged people and
from different projects and initiatives in the field of youth, culture
and social work. The partner is situated in a former farm and they still

IBG03 Hoetensleben
(region: Hannover) 23.06. – 13.07.02 RENO/HIST 14 vol.
Hoetensleben has been a small village
directly at the border between the two parts of Germany. Some parts of
the former frontier protection are a monument now. Here the frontier gards
tried to avoid violations of the border. The international group will maintain
the former frontier protection as a monument. Without this support the
wall would fall down in the next months. The wall separated the two parts
of Germany, here you can still see the violence of the former Iron Curtain.
It is still a very strong impression. We look for volunteers interested
in German and worldwide history, a small study-part will offer the opportunity
for discussions. You will have a close contact to the local youth, you
should be open for this!

are drawn in from the various spiritual paths followed by community members,
