Description
of the project Velipoja is one of the wonderful beach’s in Balkan with
many possibilitie for promoting tourism. Velipoja beach is situated 30
km far from Shkodra (in the North part of Albania). Actually the coast
there is going to be poluted every year by people which are not taking
care to keep it cleaned. So every year there is a huge need to clean the
coast. So this workcamp will aim to clean the coast and to promote keeping
cleaned the beach. In the same time people will be informed with the resources
and beautiful fauna of the place.
Work description
Cleanning the beach and making sensibilisation campaign during the whole
period to keep cleaned the beach by appealing people to put their garbadges
on the properly place.
Study subject
The environment of the Velipoja beach and preservation of environment
Accommodation
In private house with 3 flats. People are asked to get towels and soap.
Sleeping back optional (not necessary needed but in certain case could
be used)
Language English
Qualifications
Interest in environmentalist issue and tourism.
Terminal Plane/bus/train
to Tirana or Podgorica. Then bus or taxi to Velipoja/Shkodra. In special
case or when it will be asked the travel copuld be arranged from organisers.
